Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of privatewellness.ca (the “Site”), any paid founding-validation campaign, and any future Private Wellness studio (the “Studio”). Bradford and Newmarket founding pages describe proposed locations only. No address, opening date, operating hours, or public booking availability is confirmed unless Private Wellness announces it in writing.
1. Service description
Private Wellness is planning timed access to a private general-wellness suite. Founding concept pages describe planned equipment and layouts that may change before opening. A concept visualization is not a representation that a physical studio is currently open.
2. Newmarket Priority Email Signup
Joining the Newmarket email list is free. With your email consent, signup provides priority booking access before standard public booking and 50% off the standard price of one first visit if the Newmarket studio opens. No deposit, payment, card details, membership or purchase commitment is required. A signup does not reserve a specific appointment. Booking is subject to availability. We will send the confirmed studio details and redemption instructions by email before opening. You can withdraw email consent by contacting support@privatewellness.ca or using the unsubscribe method in our emails.
Existing Founding Reservations
The following terms remain applicable to historical paid reservations. The new free email signup does not alter existing payments or refund rights.
- A Founding Reservation is a one-time $49 CAD fully refundable deposit that secures one planned 60-minute private-suite session at the discounted Founding rate if the selected city proceeds.
- When the session is redeemed, the complete $49 deposit is applied to that session and no session balance remains. You may request a full refund before redemption by contacting support@privatewellness.ca. If the selected location does not proceed, Private Wellness will automatically refund it.
- Regular single sessions are planned at $89 CAD. The $49 discounted Founding rate applies only to the session secured by the deposit.
- The historical Newmarket paid email offer issued a unique 10%-off code, reducing the one-time Founding session deposit from $49.00 to $44.10 CAD. An existing discounted payment retains the same refund protection and pays the same Founding session in full. This is separate from the new free priority signup offer.
- An email-offer code may secure only one active paid reservation at a time. It becomes unavailable while attached to an open checkout or paid reservation and is released if that checkout expires or the payment is fully refunded.
- A Founding Reservation does not purchase or begin a membership, package, or subscription. It creates no recurring charge or automatic later payment.
- Each city is limited to the first 50 successful, non-refunded paid reservations. A reservation counts only after verified payment. A full refund releases the spot.
- Reservations close at the earlier of the verified city cap or the fixed deadline displayed on the campaign page. Private Wellness does not use rolling or artificial countdowns.
3. Booking, payment, and memberships
Standard sessions and memberships are not currently offered for Bradford or Newmarket. Future single sessions are planned at $89 CAD, but that price and all future booking, renewal, cancellation, guest, package, membership, and operating terms will be confirmed before standard booking is activated. Any future purchase will require separate active acceptance.
4. Eligibility and contraindications
You must be 18 years of age or older to use a future Studio. Before any visit, you will be required to review the applicable safety guidance and consent. You agree not to use the Studio if you:
- are pregnant or believe you may be pregnant;
- have any cardiac condition, including high or low blood pressure not controlled by medication;
- have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or other implanted electronic medical device;
- are taking medication that affects heart rate, blood pressure, thermoregulation, or photosensitivity; or
- are otherwise advised by a qualified medical professional not to use dry sauna, red-light, PEMF, or compression therapy.

5. Assumption of risk and waiver of liability
Use of the Studio is voluntary and at your sole risk. You acknowledge that heat exposure, electromagnetic pulse, photobiomodulation, and pneumatic compression carry inherent risks, including but not limited to dehydration, lightheadedness, burns, syncope, cardiac events, and aggravation of pre-existing conditions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release Private Wellness, its operators, owners, employees, and contractors from any and all claims arising out of or related to your use of the Studio, other than claims arising from gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
6. Studio rules
These rules apply only if a Studio opens. Final occupancy, guest pricing, access procedures, device protocols, and safety rules will be confirmed before opening.
- Your PIN is personal and non-transferable. Do not share it.
- Leave the room as you found it. You are responsible for any damage caused during your session.
- The session ends at your scheduled end time. Access is revoked automatically.
7. No medical advice
Nothing on the Site or in the Studio constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified health professional for any medical concern.
8. Intellectual property
All content, trademarks, and brand elements on the Site are the property of Private Wellness or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use them without written permission.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or the Studio after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Ontario.
